Traditionally, the bridal shower was an opportunity for friends and family to shower the bride with gifts of things she would need to set up her own home when she was married. These days, the bridal shower is still a chance for the bride to receive gifts, but she can also have fun and celebrate her marriage with friends and family.
The proceedings at a bridal shower are quite predictable – guests arrive, everyone plays some games, the bride opens the gifts, everyone eats then leaves. One bridal shower is pretty much the same as the next.
Could you plan a bridal shower with a difference? What creative ideas could you use to spice up the plain bridal shower? Here are some novel ideas that will help you arrange a wonderfully different bridal shower that everyone is going to really enjoy.
Use your imagination to find different venue possibilities. Perhaps you could have a picnic in a park? Spread brightly colored picnic rugs in the shade or ask if you can make use of the bandstand, if there is one in the park. Large market style umbrellas could be used for shade and in case of rain.

They say you only get married once and it’s an event of your life time. At least that’s how most women feel when they think about marriage. Marriage is a celebration of vows between two people who promise to share their lives together through illness and in health, until death will they part. As this is a very special moment, most wedding ceremonies are made extra special by the presence of flowers.
Fresh flowers are common and popular choice of women when it comes to their weddings. Fresh flowers signify an attractive fresh start and a relationship in its fullest bloom. However many floral blooms such as tulips and calla lilies could be very expensive. Some brides could go for do it yourself flower arrangement but not all brides have the luxury of time and have enough skills to prepare flowers just like an expert Malaysia florist does. They may need to take a visit to the closest florist shop in Malaysia for some ideas. But here are some tips for starters and amateurs when it comes to selecting the perfect and cost effective wedding ceremony flowers.

Bridal shower is one of the most memorable events for friends, family members and for the bride as well. By all means, the events hosted on bridal shower should be downright entertaining for everyone out there.
One of the means by which one can ensure that the guests present in the event are not bored is to include bridal shower games. These games are on the surge these days, and no party is said to be complete without such party games.
The first game we will talk about is Hot Potato. The guests present in the party will be first seated on the chairs. Music will be played and a box will be passed out from one guest to another until the music stops. The guest holding the box when the music ends will have to wear everything present inside the box.
Gossiping is a fun game as well, wherein the guests will be divided into separate groups. A group of guest and the bride will write down gossipy questions on index cards.

The best part about the wedding day is selecting the rings. Women love this part as jewelry is a girls best friend. Yet, you want to make sure that you get the right thing for the right price and that you get the right service. So, for those of you wondering how do I select my wedding jeweller, we have the answers for you of things to keep in mind and check out before hand.
One of the first things you do is look for the jewelers that are closest to you. You want to make sure you aren’t driving all over Canada for this. There should be some pretty decent ones in your area. Just open your phone book and jot a few down to look up and do more research on.
The next thing is to see if there are any reviews of them. If you don’t have any reviews about the jewelleries that you have picked out, then ask around. Sometimes wedding blogs will have where people can post things. Other times, you can ask people who have been married about if they have heard anything. This will give you an idea about how reputable they are.

Before taking a look at the following romantic marriage proposals, I have to insist that you don’t simply copy any idea you read word for word, but to improve upon it and above all make it personal to your own relationship!
That being said, I hope the following romantic marriage proposals give you inspiration for when your lady’s magical moment finally arrives.
1. Arrange for a day at the spa for the two of you then change into your best outfits before heading off to a photo shoot. While you’re being photographed go down on one knee and propose. You’ll have the moment forever. After, you can go for a nice meal followed by a night at a 5 star hotel.
2. Tell your girl to meet you in the park at lunchtime then show up late wearing a suit of armour on horseback. A friend could play Holsts “Jupiter” as you approach. Swing down from the horse and offer to be her prince.
3. Hire a limo and pick her up from work. Hand her a red rose and have her best outfit to hand. Drive down to the best restaurant in town and have them serve you in the limo. Play romantic music and propose for desert.

Well you’re after unique marriage proposals, so you’ll have no problem with me telling you that the best marriage proposals are ones that are unique to your relationship and not ones that are copied from elsewhere.
So if you like any of the following unique marriage proposals, please make sure to put your own stamp and twist on it!
1. Go for a meal at a fancy restaurant and get collected in a horse drawn carriage! Drink champagne while you’re riding around town and propose while you cuddle under the stars.
2. While she’s not home light a candlelit pathway leading up to her front door and beyond into her bedroom. When she follows the path she’ll find you in a tux on one knee with ring in hand.
3. Take her blindfolded to an idyllic location that is special to the two of you. When you uncover her eyes, she finds that you’ve made a picnic with all her favourite food. You could perhaps hide some champagne in some nearby water! Propose while you listen to your special song!

Before you read these romantic proposal ideas, be sure that you don’t simply carbon copy somebody else’s idea!
I suggest you make your proposal completely unique to the two of you by using some of the many shared experiences you have together! That will show you’ve been paying attention!
That being said, take a look at these romantic proposal ideas, i hope you gain some inspiration:
1. Tell her that you have to go on a 2 week business trip which coincides with your anniversary! After 1 week, she’ll be missing you! Surprise her with your presence and propose!
2. Go for a hot air balloon ride and propose under the stars at night! Very romantic! Just mind the balloon operator, perhaps you could bring him along a jigsaw puzzle and an ipod?
3. You could go digging for shells at the beach! When suddenly you “find” an old bottle containing a love poem! Read it out to her then propose!
4. Have an instant wedding! Take her for a meal, propose and when she says “yes” all her friends and family come out on cue! Start the wedding at once! This needs fine planning and tight lips from many people!

Proposing to your girlfriend is something that hopefully you’re only going to do once! Hopefully!!! Before you propose to your girlfriend, read these tips to give yourself a little advantage!
1. Like all good lawyers, only ask the question if you know the answer! If you think there’s a good chance she’ll say “no” then she probably will! You obviously haven’t given your courtship long enough!
2. If you’re considering a public proposal ie in front of her family or at a ball game then you need to be extra sure she’ll say “yes!” You don’t want her to accept only to change her mind when you’re alone!
3. You really have to surprise the girl! Eliminate any chance of her finding out by only enlisting the help of trusted friends who can keep quiet.
4. If you’ve got your proposal idea from the internet, a book or from someone you know, then make sure you personalize it to your own experiences! Never carbon copy a proposal!
5. Always take a knee! It’s old, corny and cliche but its how she always imagined her proposal would be since she was a little girl so don’t disappoint her!

A civil union between two people whether religious or otherwise is commonly called a wedding. Marriage is still a legal contract despite the religious background, and the legal act of marriage only occurs once the signing a marriage license or other legal document is complete. The religious ceremony (if you have one) may mean that you’re married according to your religion or culture, but you won’t be recognized as married – i.e. as husband and wife – under the law until you have completed the legal requirements.
Marriages in a Church
Wedding traditions and customs vary greatly between cultures, ethnic groups, religions, countries, and social classes. Although it may seem like the world has turned away from the Christian religion generally, it has not stopped the popularity of a Church ceremony complete with wedding ceremony music. White weddings may be quite normal for those of us that live in the United States, UK, Ireland and the Commonwealth but they are not always pracised worldwide amongst Christian faiths.
