As the years pass by after your marriage day many of the important happy memories can fade and making a wedding memory book is an ideal way to chronicle the entire marriage process to preserve those special memories. Wedding memory books can be bought ready made with individual pages for guest lists, a family lineage and tons of pages for photos, but you can also make your own. Let’s take a look at what you need to consider when making your own wedding book.
Many couples start to think about their wedding book as they start preparations for the wedding, and just include it in the list to do ; order a wedding cake, book a wedding videographer, book hotels etc, but an excellent idea is to make one that includes everything before the marriage also. You need to consider if you want a collection of only wedding day memories or if you would like to include the bachelor and bachelorette party that is certain to have some of the best moments to incorporate, although maybe a section at the rear of the book should be reserved for those photographs.

Proposing to your girlfriend is something that hopefully you’re only going to do once! Hopefully!!! Before you propose to your girlfriend, read these tips to give yourself a little advantage!
1. Like all good lawyers, only ask the question if you know the answer! If you think there’s a good chance she’ll say “no” then she probably will! You obviously haven’t given your courtship long enough!
2. If you’re considering a public proposal ie in front of her family or at a ball game then you need to be extra sure she’ll say “yes!” You don’t want her to accept only to change her mind when you’re alone!
3. You really have to surprise the girl! Eliminate any chance of her finding out by only enlisting the help of trusted friends who can keep quiet.
4. If you’ve got your proposal idea from the internet, a book or from someone you know, then make sure you personalize it to your own experiences! Never carbon copy a proposal!
5. Always take a knee! It’s old, corny and cliche but its how she always imagined her proposal would be since she was a little girl so don’t disappoint her!

Leez Priory is an incredibly beautiful Tudor mansion that has become one of the most popular venues for weddings in all of England. Between the gorgeous setting of the house, the perfectly landscaped grounds and the 40 acres of land surrounding it all, this is a location that cannot be beat.
From the moment you arrive at Leez Priory, it is all yours. The venue is only available for one ceremony at a time so you never have to worry about crossing paths with other wedding parties. This exclusive location really will be exclusive.
The special treatment starts from the night before when you can opt for a charming cottage especially for the use of the Bride and Bridesmaids. Whatever you need to make your evening complete can be catered to, such as drinks, food and music. In the morning, you can get ready for the big event here or move to the changing rooms in the manor.
Five different spots are licensed for the civil ceremony, including the Great Tower adjacent to the manor. This Tudor construction will supply an ambiance you will not be able to find elsewhere. Meals can be served in a variety of spots as well, such as the Great Hall, the Gatehouse or the newly renovated Coach House which can seat 110 people.

The list is long when getting ready for a wedding and one of the most important items on the list is the photographer. Who you choose to take your wedding photos is one of the most important decisions you will make. The photos will be with you for many years following the ceremony so it is important to choose a good photographer.
Find a photographer that will be with you throughout the wedding process. This means they must be willing to be present while you are getting ready for the big moment as well as the wedding party preparing for the wedding. The photographer should also be present throughout the entire wedding and a majority of the reception.
If you are considering someone whom you have never met or never seen their work, request samples. A professional photographer will have a portfolio for you to view with previous weddings they have shot. Ask to see various poses the photographer was able to capture at other weddings.
Do not hire the photographer over the phone and not plan a meeting until the day of the wedding. Always meet with them prior to the date of their services. You should also sign an agreement prior to the date as well.

Have you ever thought of booking a weddings band? The answer is not many people have. Most people see it as an afterthought the wedding entertainment and just book a local DJ but the whole wedding day is a special occasion and should not be spoiled in any way.
You want your wedding day to be a super event that is remembered by all present and hiring a weddings band to play for you is sure to do exactly this.
One thing that probably stops people in their tracks when considering a weddings band to play at their wedding is the cost of the full band.
Your first thoughts may be that the cost is considerably more than what you would pay the old faithful DJ. Of course, the cost is relative and as a band usually consists of two to six players who all need paying for their part, this is going to be the case. You do, after all, get what you pay for.

Wedding photographs set the stage for long time memories and very few brides wish to take the cheap route where this is concerned. Although we are hesitant to offer advice to try to save money on your wedding photos, with professional wedding photography prices skyrocketing, not all brides can find the money for such services.
There are some answers here for the budget minded bride on how to save cash on your wedding pictures:
1.) Search Among Your Family or Friends for a Photographer. There is certain to be somebody who is into photography and owns better equipment than ordinary folks normally have. Try to find a relation who takes good photos and you can ask him to help out. You should employ the services of the persons who are willing to assist to trim your wedding expenses. If you do find somebody, be sure to speak with them in advance and make him/her aware of any particular poses you desire.
2.) Contact the Local University to Hire a Photography Student. The chance to add some photos to their portfolio by photographing an event will delight them. They are not professionals, but you can count on them to have fresh and creative ideas which can translate to memorable photographs.

Food photography is a very technical area of photography because you have two dimensions to master – film and food. Here are some useful tips to help you.
Let there be light
The first important technique food photographers should learn is about lighting. When photographing food you should treat it as you would any other kind of subject and make sure it is lit correctly. Many pictures can be improved by using adequate lighting. Natural light is the best light source to use, so by a window is an ideal location. Natural light cuts out the shadows, and gives the food a more natural look which all food photographers want.
Using Props
Food photographers setting up to take a picture not only arrange the food neatly but they also include a plate or table cloth to add the surrounding. The idea is not to clutter the picture but allow room for a few extra items you can add to it like a glass, napkin, or a fork. These items can be placed in the background in a secondary location of your picture area, giving it extra spice.

Planning a wedding is a huge undertaking. There are so many details to think about and so much work to be done. One of the most essential parts of the planning process is your reception. There are many things to think about when constructing that portion of your event, and one of the most important is the music.
You could go for the DJ or you could go for the more popular choice of the live wedding band. If you want some spark and life during your reception, you will want to stick with hiring the live wedding band.
When looking at a wedding band to hire, it would be a good idea to make sure that you are catching a live performance of theirs. This can be done by attending one of their public gigs. If you are unable to do this, you should have no problem getting your hands on a demo CD. By taking a close listen to their music, you will be able to truly determine whether or not they are a good fit for your wedding reception.
